Bethany Bush - Owner/Instructor
Bethany Bush is the passionate owner and artistic director of Studio 606, bringing a lifetime of dance experience and dedication to the art form. She also has two Bachelor's Degrees - Psychology and Business Management - from the University of the Cumberlands.
Bethany started dancing at the early age of 5 performing in a holiday classic, The Nutcracker, at Robyn Bingham's Dance Academy and the spring production of Broadway Revue. Bethany continued training with Heather Adams’ Academy of Dance where she grew into a student helper and a junior instructor.
At the age of 12 she joined Backstage Dance Company in Knoxville, Tennessee training in ballet, pointe, lyrical, tap, jazz, musical theatre, contemporary, and hip hop. Bethany competed with the Releve’ team, winning numerous regional and national competitions.
At this time Bethany also attended numerous conventions and summer programs including: Dancer Palooza, Long Beach, CA; Joffrey Ballet, New York, NY; Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway, New York, NY; Millennium Dance Complex, Hollywood, CA; Tremaine, Burbank, CA.
Bethany trained with Revolution Dance Company in Gray, TN in later years, as well Prima Dance All-Stars to further her pom and hip-hop training. Bethany held the Title of "Miss That's Entertainment" in 2020.
In an effort to bring innovative teaching methods to her students, Bethany recently attended Rhee Gold's Dance Life Teacher Conference hosted by Rhee Gold in Uncasville, CT. This conference offers the highest standard of dance teacher training in the dance industry.
Bethany developed a love for teaching early in her own dance training. It is her passion to provide quality dance training while instilling confidence and self-esteem in all students. Studio 606 is a family friendly atmosphere, where dancers create life-long friendships.
With a blend of technical expertise, performance experience, and a deep love for teaching, Bethany strives to create a positive, inclusive, and empowering environment at Studio 606 where dancers of all ages can thrive.
